Had a great afternoon with family and friends in the museum lots to see and activities to do. Dressing up in period costumes
We purchased a family ticket. Really good value and ticket last for a year which is a bonus as we will definitely visit again

I went with family and really enjoyed this museum. I last went as a child, I won't be waiting that long again.
Your ticket gives you free entry for 12 months.
The prison and war sections were our favourite.

Loved it, Great exhibits, a good family afternoon out. The Victorian Street was perfect, and the old Gaol underneath intact, even Dick Turpin's cell. Learned a lot, and also enjoyed seeing the exhibits from the world wars. Will definitely visit again.

Чудовий музей. Була з десятирічною онукою . Кожна з нас знайшла щось цікаве для себе. Особливо сподобалась вулиця старого Йорку з крамницями. Едине що не змогла дивитись це зали про війну. Для українців вхід безкоштовний. Дякую !!!

Expensive for a ticket- but it’s an annual ticket so will work out worthwhile in the long run.
Great for a half day explore with kids (ideal for 7+), the whole set up with actors is really effective.
We’ll be going regularly!

This is just an excellent, interactive and funny way to get to know the history of the people of York. Their Victorian street recreation is on point and the actors are fabulous. Staff were really nice and helpful, they even explained that you can get a ticket and then have the possibility of comimg back through a year.
